CHEEKY Trafford Housing Trust repairmen have stripped down to their tool belts to make a naked calendar for the new year.
Housing association staff bared all for the calendar – to help raise funds for Christie’s Manchester Million appeal and to raise awareness of men’s health checks.
The repairs team, including builders, plumbers, joiners, plasterers, electricians and glaziers were inspired to strip down to the bare essentials after a male employee was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The team wanted to do something to help raise cash to support research into the disease and also help raise the profile of the importance of men having health checks too.
Mr May, repairman Mike Fitzpatrick, a 51-year-old father-of-two,was reluctant to strip for the camera at first, but decided to brave the elements when told it was for a good cause.
A thousand copies of the calendar have been printed and are available for £10 each at the housing Trust’s Sale headquarters.
