THE Last Shadow Puppets have added four additional dates to their UK October tour.

The band, led by Alex Turner and Miles Kane, with live musicians James Ford (drums), John Ashton (keyboards) and Stephen Fretwell (bass), will be augmented by a full 16–piece orchestra at each show.

With their self-titled debut nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize, the set at Manchester Apollo on October 12 will be an inevitable sell-out.

The Last Shadow Puppets is a side project of Turner, from Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys, and Miles Kane of Liverpool’s The Rascals.

Turner and Kane became friends when Kane’s previous band The Little Flames played support for Arctic Monkeys on their May/June 2005 UK tour.

Ipso Facto will support the band on all their UK and European dates.

Tickets are on sale now from gigsandtours.com and the 24–hour hotline 0871 2200 260.
