Man seriously assaulted
A MAN is in a poorly condition in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a vicious assault.
The victim, in his mid 20s, was attacked as he walked towards his grandmother's home in York Street, Macclesfield at around 7pm last night, Saturday.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the attack and particularly want to eliminate a young couple who were seen in the area at the time.
