ROSSENDALE Hall's Oakwood Project will hold an Open Day on Saturday May 17 from noon to 5pm when home-produced plants and vegetables will be on sale.
The Oakwood Project is a day service for people with learning difficulties, giving them the chance to work with animals, in horticulture, do woodwork, arts and crafts and other outdoor activities.
Visitors can take a look at the animals and buy items from the plant and vegetable stall, including cucumbers, aubergines, annual and perennial herbs, as well as bedding plants and hanging baskets.
Refreshments will be available.
The Open Day will take place in the grounds of Rossendale Hall in Hollins Lane, Sutton. For more information, telephone 01260 252500.
