SAM Youd, head gardener at Tatton Park for the past 30 years, will share his gardening experiences with visitors to the estate on Friday May 30.

The evening begins at 6pm with Pimms on the Italian Terrace and a rare opportunity for guests to explore the gardens after-hours', including newly commissioned work for the Tatton Park Biennial. Guests will then be directed to the Tenants' Hall to enjoy Bothies, Bell Jars and Brussels Sprouts', as Sam relates amusing stories, inside knowledge, and experience gained in more than 45 years in gardening.

Tickets for An Audience with Sam Youd cost £20 per person, including Pimms refreshments and garden entry. Telephone 01625 374428 or visit www.tattonpark.org.uk.
