House Shop closes down

THE House Shop chain, which has a branch in Bramhall, has gone into administration.
Management at the business, which has several stores across the northwest, have blamed the collapse on the global credit crunch and the ensuing down turn in the retail sector.
It is believed the Bramhall shop may reopen later this summer under a new name.
