A BRAMHALL man beat his partner following a party in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport magistrates heard.
Alistair Sim - known as Alfie - was given a four month suspended prison sentence after the assault on November 2, and was also ordered to take part in a domestic abuse programme.
Stockport magistrates heard Sim, an advertising executive, and his partner had recently got back together after a three year break apart following an 11 year relationship. On the night in question Sim, 35, and of Bramhall Lane South, had been drinking heavily at a party on Manor Road with his partner but started arguing when they left.
Police were called a short time later when a passerby saw Sim assaulting her on Bramhall’s Carr Wood Road.
