Brewer backs Prestbury CC

PRESTBURY Cricket Club is aiming to hit the opposition for six this summer after winning valuable backing from Stockport-based brewer Frederic Robinson Limited.
The deal, which sees Robinson's become the club's main sponsor, is a welcome boost to Prestbury as it strives to win promotion to Cheshire Division 1 as well as continuing to support its blossoming junior section.
Prestbury u15 v Marple u15
Marple won the toss and chose to bat, making 177 for 1.
Prestbury had a big target to get for the first time this season but, with Tim Saxon, 35, Will Hudson, 37, and support from all Prestbury batters, they reached 180 for 5 with three overs left.
Prestbury u15 v Bollington u15
PCC won the toss and chose to bat, making 172 for 4. Will Hudson scored 40 (rtd), Andy Hodgson 42 (rtd) and Tom Livesley 27.
Bollington were all out for 92 thanks to sound bowling from Matt Jones with multiple wickets.
