WARRINGTON Hockey Club men’s first team crashed back down to earth after an excellent victory the previous week.
The game against Manchester men’s seconds started terribly, by conceding a goal in the first minute.
It got worse when captain Geoff Stott was forced off with an injury.
Goal chances were scarce for both teams but Manchester managed to get a second from a corner.
The second half started brighter for Warrington but it was not enough to keep Manchester at bay.
Iain Richards scored for Warrington from a well-worked corner but Manchester added the final goal to make it 4-1.
